Pepper Source was founded by Jim Mayer, Sr. and Joe Morse, Sr. in response to the growing need for private label hot sauce in 1987. Since then we have incorporated two sister companies: American Breading and Spice to provide specialty batters and breading solutions, and Pepper Source Breading and Spice to increase spice blend production. These companies reside in two facilities located in Van Buren and Rogers, Arkansas.

Joe Morse, Jr. and John Morse joined the team in 2012, marking entry into our third generation of family ownership. The company now responds to all sauce and dressing needs in the industry. The key to Pepper Source’s long standing success has been our dedication, responsiveness, unsurpassed customer service, and competitive spirit.

Here at Pepper Source, we pride ourselves in our uniqueness in this industry, without compromising our high set of standards for safety and quality. We focus on enhancing and protecting our customer’s brand, as opposed to a private retail brand of our own. Our capabilities at Pepper Source allow us to develop flavor profiles and concepts for our customers, create and produce from start to finish in one location, and customize every layer of the customer’s product.
